Showcasing designers whose passion projects have taken shape in an array of products, this exhibition spotlights the blurred line between product and art object, and between collectability and function. "A Product of Design" celebrates a cross-section of companies and individuals whose work is graphic and inspiring.
Continuing to explore complex steel structures Blanc introduces several new members to the growing collection including Graphite Pendant Light and 24K bowl. Graphite Pendant Lights are 24” diameter multi-faceted geometric globes surrounding vintage 30Watt Squirrel bulbs. Each light can be suspended as a stand alone or hung and nested into one another to form an expanding chandelier grouping. 24K, a twenty-one inch. diameter, 24 karat gold bowl uses intersecting steel to form cubist like spatial geometry.
Blanc is currently working in Providence, RI. His new collection of work will be on view through October 8th at 3521 Helms Ave. Culver City, CA 90232
